Mission

SC EPiC’s mission is to connect decision-makers in and beyond South Carolina to applied economic research in the Department of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business. As part of this mission, the center supports decision makers in the analysis and implementation of public policy, conducts applied research on policy relevant topics, and assists policy makers and businesses in understanding the impacts of new and existing programs. The center's main policy and program interest is maintaining economic development through increased workforce productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and sustainable and efficient production practices and investments.​​
